Although there are marked differences between structural welding and welding certification testing of pipes, some common denominators. Here are some tips that apply to both types of pipe welding tests, and testing of sheet metal.
- This is never a bad idea to call the test supervisor before the examination date to get all the details possible.
- Ask your questions before the test so it can be clear about expectations test master
- obtain permission first, but try to get a piece of scrap metal to be welded on what may cause the equipment and welding machine before light on the real deal.
- maintain all strikes in arc welding and are therefore covered by the solder. No codes allow arc welding strikes outside the weld.

If you have never done the certification test before welding, you may not realize what is at issue. Usually, getting the job or not getting the job depends on its ability to pass the test.
